We are currently recruiting for our client for the position of Corporate Travel Agent based in Limerick. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete travel arrangements for internal clients and external healthcare professionals with air, hotel, car, and ground transportation vendors at the lowest possible fares based upon selected itinerary. Utilise preferred vendors to maximize savings for agency and parent company.
  • Follow company procedures, guidelines and standards in the areas of customer service, building Passenger Name Records (PNRs) and profiles, ticketing, utilisation of front room Sabre Computer Reservations System (CRS) productivity, attendance, accuracy of work, invoicing, etc.
  • Complete all functions related to servicing the client, including ticket processing, administrative functions, prepaid tickets, debit memos, etc.
  • Research and provide solutions to travel-related problems clients may have experienced with arrangements provided them.
  • Remain fully informed of all airline rules and regulations as well as tariffs and other industry requirements and accurately apply this information when making travel arrangements.
  • Maintain a high level of competency in operating the Sabre CRS.
  • Financial reporting and administration as required.
  • Provide Concur Travel training to employees.
  • Provide reception back up on a rota basis.
  • Ensure that company's Code of Conduct is complied with in all business matters carried out on the company's behalf.
Qualifications /Requirements

  • Previous Travel Agency experience in a dynamic business travel environment.
  • Sabre or other CRS experience is required together with a sound knowledge of world geography.
  • Excellent written and verbal command of English. Ability to communicate with people for whom English is not a native language.
  • Fluency in a second European language apart from English would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft® Office.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • High self-motivation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Availability and willingness to travel on company business.
