The key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Support of month/period/ year end processes
  • Ongoing product costing
  • In conjunction with the Capital Manager
  • Perform review of Fixed Asset Register post SAP implementation and
  • Provide assistance for ongoing maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
  • Documentation of key processes & controls for recent changes due to SAP implementation.
  • Provide backup as required to other team members in the areas of:
  • Freight planning & reporting
  • Cost of Sales & Inventory reporting
  • Overhead Reporting
  • KPI/ Metric Reporting
  • Testing and development of new planning tools for Depreciation, Capital and Freight
  • Support plant, region & divisional projects & initiatives as they arise.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, audit, internal control (GCS) & Sarbanes Oxley requirements.


Key Attributes
  • Qualified accountant with 3-4 Years PQE ideally in a high volume multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Commitment to driving a lean finance reporting environment and identification of non-value added activities.
  • Initiative & a high degree of self motivation.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to relate to & influence co-workers (both financial & non financial) across various departments & all levels of the organization.
