ROLE TITLE: Channel Marketing Executive
This is an amazing opportunity for a talented, experienced Marketing Executive to secure a role in a progressive, dynamic telecommunications company. The function of this role is to execute all marketing related aspects of the go-to market plan, and provide trade marketing support to all consumer sales channels on an on-going basis.
The Successful Candidate Is Required to have:
- Related third level qualification desirable
- 3-5 years relevant experience in a large organisation, ideally telecommunications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate and influence.
- High-level understanding of mobile and internet technology and trends.
- Entrepreneurial drive with appreciation of user-experience, business, and commercial issues.
- Strong understanding of the customer with the ability to operate within tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work in a pressurised environment.
- Passionate about excellent Customer Experience
- Commercial acumen with the ability to understand the levers for driving profitability.
- High Energy individual with a proven track record of operating in a dynamic, demanding & customer centric environment.
- Ability to clearly demonstrate achievement of results in previous roles including the obstacles which were overcome.
On successful hire the candidate will be expected to:
- Responsibility for development and execution of marketing activity across all consumer sales channels
- Liaising directly with Marketing Communications team and relevant agencies to deliver tactical marketing activity (FOTS activity / experiential marketing) in support of achieving trading KPIs (acquisition, upgrades, ARPU of customers acquired)
- Ensure brand is communicated as per guidelines, in all POS, media and collateral by collaborating with Marketing Communications and all Sales Channels
- Responsibility for execution and implementation of all marketing related aspects of go-to-market plan
- Responsibility for implementation of the marketing launch plan for each trading initiative deployed within the segments team
- Management of the promotion budget as assigned to Go to Market team
- Support Go to Market Manager and Specialists on implementation of agreed marketing activity in support of addressing trading variances on a weekly and monthly basis
- Provide trade marketing support on an ongoing basis across all consumer channels
- Working with the Supply Chain and Device Proposition Specialist, develop and execute marketing activity in support of device pricing initiatives as required
- Planning and execution of Consumer Sales promotions across all sales channels including Online, Telesales & Retail
- Manage the relationship between Consumer Segments teams and the Marketing Communications and Consumer Sales teams
- In conjunction with Go to Market Specialists & Insights team, provide timely reporting on all competitor trading activity both ATL & BTL
